It's Showtime Folks!

I may have been quiet online lately, but that doesn't mean the art has stopped. This weekend and next weekend are the two biggest weekends on Delaware's art show calendar. The Rehoboth Art League is a quiet escape in the nation's summer capital. Under the pines and away from the beach crowds this juried show not only features many of Delaware's most well known artists, but embraces you with 3.5 acres of ample natural beauty.

Tent Location: Booth #3 - This is a new spot for me and it's in front of the historic Homestead.

1st Weekend: Saturday & Sunday, August 8 & 9, 2014 (rain or shine)
2nd Weekend:
Saturday & Sunday, August 16 & 17, 2014 (rain or shine)

Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays, 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. Sundays

Admission: $5 - Tickets may be purchased at the Art League or online here.

Refreshments: Nage’s CafĂ© will be serving lunch in the Chambers Building, lite fare and coffees from The Pointe can be found across from the Corkran Galley, there will be lemonade outside the Children’s Studio and, in the afternoon, join Dogfish Head Brewery in the Homestead Garden for beer, music and a DPR live broadcast.

Fabulous musical entertainment: Familiar local artists and some exciting new faces, along with live entertainment featuring jazz, blue grass, and folk music will create a relaxing atmosphere for spending the day.
